Workshop Objectives

Understand the definition of trauma

Learn about the impact of trauma on child development, learning & behavior

Learn specific parenting strategies to help children who have experienced trauma

Trauma-Informed Trainings include the major tenets of trauma-informed care, the neurobiology of trauma, and offer practical, ready-to-use solutions to increase regulation and decrease challenging behaviors. Participants will leave with an understanding of why behavioral tools and strategies that work for most children are often inadequate and ineffective with children who have experienced trauma. Our trainings provide interventions and tools that are trauma-informed and effective.
